Amanda Doolittle

Amanda Doolittle is a mechanical engineering major with previous experience with motorcycle engines and artistic interests. She plans to research the engine, is the planned secondary driver, and has been as appointed team captain.  She has been working with Alex Weiss in detailed design of the aluminum frame. She along with Brian Nault will be primarily responsible for the engine and powertrain.

Joyce Atadero is a mechanical engineering major with an energy concentration. She has AutoCAD experience, is planning on working on the ergonomics, steering wheel and control levers, and the integration of the vehicle’s components.  She is designated as the primary designated driver and the vehicle will be built around her size. She along with Alex Weiss and Amanda Doolittle will work on the vehicle body and frame.

Alex Weiss is a mechanical engineering major who has experience in SMAW, MIG, TIG, and gas welding. He has interned at Cabot Microelectronics and OSG Tap & Die, and is interested in researching the frame and body of the vehicle. He along with Joyce Atadero and Amanda Doolittle will work on the detailed design of the body and frame.

Brian Nault is a mechanical engineering major that has automotive and technology interests.  He has interned at G&W Electric Co. from 2010-2014 and worked full-time at Panduit Corp. from 2007-2009. He has fourteen months of on-the-job Pro/E and Creo experience as well as extensive laptop repair experience at the Bradley IT helpdesk. Brian has significant experience using various garage tools on personal automotive maintenance projects and is a member of SAE International. As an underclassman, he has spent each year shadowing the Bradley University FSAE and Eco-Marathon teams. He will work on the design of the steering assembly, wheels and hubs, and along with Amanda Doolittle will have a primary focus on the engine and drivetrain.
